Welcome to Fox Hollow Homestead
At home in the southern Illinois countryside, Fox Hollow Homestead is more than a place—it’s a living story. Revived with care at 3905 Milligan Hill Road, our homestead is a patchwork of gardens, animals, handmade goods, and seasonal magic.
Our Roots
Though we began in Texas, our family’s story winds through St. Louis and Galesburg—places that shaped our love of animals, nature, and the quiet wisdom of the land. That love brought us to southern Illinois, where Fox Hollow Homestead is growing into something both old and new.
We’re early in our journey, learning as we go. We’re not perfect, but we’re passionate—about crafting with our hands, listening to the seasons, and sharing what nature gives us with kindred spirits who feel at home in this way of life. Every skill we learn, every story we tell, is part of a bigger view of what life can be: connected, creative, and full of care.
What We Make
We handcraft soaps, salves, beeswax candles, jewelry, and more—each piece inspired by the land, the animals we love, and the stories we tell. Our packaging and recipes carry subtle heirloom charm, designed to evoke warmth and wonder.
The Hollow's Heartbeat
Fox Hollow is also home to the Fox Hollow Tales—a growing collection of children’s stories, nature facts, and whimsical downloads. Through Sprouts Kids Corner, seasonal events, and playful advocacy (like turkeys as friends, not food), we invite all ages to learn, laugh, and connect.
Our Promise
We promise to nurture with intention, create with care, and share with honesty. At Fox Hollow, we’re building a life rooted in nature, tradition, and lifelong learning—and we invite you to grow with us.
We promise to honor the animals, the land, and the stories that shape our days. Whether we’re crafting a beeswax candle, writing a tale for Sprouts - Kids Corner, or learning a new skill by moonlight, we do it with joy, curiosity, and a deep respect for what’s real.
We promise to welcome kindred spirits—those who feel at home in the quiet, the handmade, and the magical. This homestead is still unfolding, and we’re grateful to share it with you.
